This album documents my son's life, starting with his birth and continuing until I get to a point that it's too full and I'll move on to another album.

This album is a Creative Memories 12x12 album in Mulberry.  If you'd like my reasons for not liking this album, click here.  All of my projects from here on out will be in a top-loading Dalee album.

With this album, I really started to get into embellishments and away from the CM method.  In other words, I started having FUN with my hobby.

Here are the pages:

Why I Don't Like CM Albums:

First, I want to start using printed or colored cardstock for backgrounds and without wallpapering the strap-hinge CM pages (which would add too much weight to the pages, in my opinion), I can't do it.

Second, the pages are not true 12x12.  This was a deliberate move on CMs part to keep people from wallpapering, thus adding too much weight to the pages and risking damage to the staples.

Third, because strap-hinge are pretty much locked into one order once the pages are complete, especially if you do two-page layouts, I'm locked into the page order I put the album together in and I can't rearrange the layouts once they are done.
